Fruit and Vegetable storage and preparation tips

Keep your fridge at just above freezing (1-2 °C ; 32-36 °F) and use perforated or sealed plastic bags as directed. Note that some items do better in a cool dark place like a cold room (7-10 °C;40-50 °F) and others at low room temperature (12-18 °C; 55-65 °F). Keep the onions separate from the potatoes and the fruits separate from the vegetables. Tomatoes are kept at room temperature.
